About Our Volunteer Board Members:

All board members must either have served in the United States military or have a military affiliation through immediate family. We feel it is best to have those who understand the military culture serve on our board in order to best support our veterans.  You can see our current board below.

Our Current Board

President & 

Co-Founder

Debra Rapozo is a wife, mom, and business professional. She brings 20 years of business management to the organization. She has also worked for several non-profits and served on various boards. She comes from a military family and is also married to the the Vice-President, a United States Air Force Veteran. 

Vice-President &

Co-Founder

Andrew Rapozo is a disabled USAF veteran, social worker, a husband, and a step-father. He is married to the President. He earned his master's in Social Work from Metropolitan State University. He and his wife decided to begin Collar of Duty shortly after adopting his second dog, Freyja. They found that there were long waits and not many resources locally to get service dogs to Veterans.

Secretary

Chris De Leon is a United States Army veteran but also comes from several generations of military veterans. He is a Colorado native who grew up in Mesa County, graduating from Fruita Monument High School in 1999 and Colorado Mesa University in 2020. Helping his fellow veterans connect with service dogs in his home region drove him to join Collar of Duty.

This role plays a huge part inconnecting the community to Collar of Duty.  You get to network with individuals and companies along with mange our website and social media pages. 

General Board Member

Nathan Rudolph is a United States Army Veteran who comes from a family deeply rooted in military service. His personal journey, which led him to Colorado after his service, has been marked by a profound dedication to advocating for and assisting his fellow Veterans. His passion is fueled by a deep understanding of the challenges Veterans face, and his mission is to ensure they receive the care and support they deserve.  Rudoplh currently supports the entire board, being a helping hand where needed.  Upon filling all positions of the board, his role will primarly support the President and Vice President as needed.
